FA Cup Culture

The Emirates FA Cup ‘Cup Culture’ event celebrated football’s heritage and cultural connection with art, music, gaming, and a trophy design collaboration between Thomas Lyte and Nigerian artist Olaolu Slawn. The event was hosted by Klaudia and highlights included a live EA Sports tournament hosted by Toby Brown, an immersive VR football experience, food provided Wingstop and an exclusive performance by AJ Tracey- Plus, the unveiling of Slawn take on the iconic FA Cup trophy.

Alongside EYC, a 360 talent agency, Hotdog produced the creative design, scenic and technical production design and delivered the event in under 2 weeks. With a brief to combine immersive technologies with traditional formats we created a set which included live graffiti walls, a custom built VR interactive booth, staging, audio & video, lighting and photo backdrops paired with custom graphics and vinyl’s whilst incorporating live streaming technology.
