Vogue X Save The Children

The Big Up Uganda event was inspired by a visit to refugee camps in Northern Uganda where it was felt that the issues the country face needed to be highlighted back in the UK. Hosted by model Adwoa Aboah and filmmaker Felix Cooper. Notable guests were invited to bid on a series of prizes in order to raise funds for the charity. A Vogue experience sold to Liam Payne and Valentino bid for a Tim Walker print featuring Karen Elson.

By the end of the night a staggering £345,000 had been raised. All proceeds from the evening went straight to Save the Children’s mission to provide emergency healthcare to refugees, schooling, the reunifying and foster care process, psychological support and play camps to help children recover from trauma. Hotdog Productions provided full creative production and design across set and tech elements which included lighting, audio, video, flowers and set.
